  Hey everyone, this is Katlyn, the newest makeup artist here at Glamorous Cosmetics. It’s never too late to amp up your Fall makeup look!

  Trends this Fall include everything from smoky and smudgy metallic eyes to wine red lipstick, but for school you might consider a more toned down look.

  One trend that’s both school and work appropriate is the monochromatic look. As seen on the Chloé and Prada runways at the Fall 2011 fashion shows, similar neutral tones on eyes, lips and cheeks provide you with a modern, flirty and effortless look that’s anything but boring. My picks for eyes would be the “Grandpa’s Fiancé” shadow stick, a neutral yet blendable eyeshadow that slightly taps into the metallic Fall trend and a neutral brown and slightly shimmery eyeliner like the retractable “Soft Meow” to define the eyes without overpowering them. To finish the look, apply classic lip gloss in “Naked Banana” to the lips and a hint of “Bronzebomb” bronzing powder all over the face.

  And there you have it! A school appropriate but still glamorous monochromatic look for Fall!
