The Oscars have arrived and we have picked out some of the most Glamorous celebrity looks! Our favorite looks this year were those of Michelle Williams, Rooney Mara, Gwenyth Paltrow, Viola Davis, and Stacy Keibler. These stunning ladies stood out on the red carpet last night.

Michelle Williams glows in a strapless Louis Vuitton gown in a gorgeous coral color. Her icy blond hair is swept to the side, leaving our eyes to focus on her bright fashion forward yet elegant gown. The peplums on her dress help accentuate her small waist and hips. She seems to have added a small Fred Leighton diamond bow brooch to her waist, giving the gown a touch of glam!

Rooney Mara stepped away from her usual choice of black to wear an elegant white Givenchy fishtail gown. Rather than going overboard with accessories, she simply wore red lipstick, a chic chignon, and a barely noticeable yet gorgeous ring by Fred Leighton. The white offer just enough contrast with her red lip and black hair.

Gwenyth Paltrow wore a sleek white Tom Ford gown. While her choice was elegant, the cape aspect was a bit daring. She kept her look simple by keeping the accessories to a minimum and sweeping her hair back, yet it was perfectly daring.

Viola Davis wore a custom Vera Wang emerald green gown with a draped chiffon skirt. Keeping her hair au natural was a big plus! Since the gown was strapless, her choice to go without a wig this time was the perfect one.

Stacy Keibler wore a gorgeous gold gown while at nominee George Clooeny’s side. This lucky girl looked both gorgeous and sexy in her slinky Marchesa single-strap gown. Although it was a difficult dress for most to pull off, it fit her like a glove. With a matching clutch and side-swept waves, she just had to go on our list of best dressed at this year’s Oscars.

All Glamorous girls love getting pampered with a pedicure. The U.K. has introduced a new pedicure treatment that’s a bit… fishy. The Garra Rufa foot pedicure is establishing itself in the U.K. health and beauty industry, and is highly sought after by both women and men. The Garra Rufa fish, which most people know as the Doctor Fish, nibbles on dead skin cells on the foot by sucking on the skin. Don’t worry, these fish have no teeth! The pedicure is offered anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. Not only can you get the doctor fish to nibble the dead skin off your feet, but some places in the United Kingdom even offer full body Garra Rufa treatments. Whether you want the doctor fish to exfoliate your feet or the rest of your body, the treatment can get pretty pricey at about £1 a minute in the U.K. The Garra Rufa spa treatment doesn’t only leave your feet feeling softer and healthier, but the fish also have been known to stimulate acupuncture points, which can help regulate the nervous system and help you feel relaxed!

Be careful though, Glamorous girls! Several U.S. states have banned the pedicure for health reasons. Since Garra Rufa fish are pretty expensive for spas to get a hold of, they often reuse the fish on many customers, increasing health risks tremendously. Although the fish could spread infections, spas in the U.K. refuse to treat feet with open sores or cuts to help prevent this. Spas also defend that since the fish are kept in UV-lit filtered tanks, diseases don’t stand a chance!

If you decide to let the doctor fish nibble on your feet, you may have some trouble finding a spa that offers the pedicure in the United States, but the United Kingdom seems to love the new pedicure treatment. I first came across the pedicure in Camden, London, but these little fish can be seen nibbling on toes at spas all across Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. So what do you think about the Garra Rufa pedicure? Is it the ultimate spa experience, or a risky one?

BRIELLA BE MINE

When I did Briella’s makeup I wanted it to be a sexy Valentines day look- but I wanted to stay away from the stereotypical reds. I came up with a look I think is flirty,fun, and extremely captivating. Smokey eye with a pop of color- but leaving the rest of the face clean with a barely there lip.

What makes this smokey eye great for date night is it’s messy! Almost like she slept in her makeup from last night, and rolled out of bed only to accept her roses. In the industry we call this “Imperfect Makeup.” It’s a really hot trend right now, that works for a romantic night or a girls night out! Either way one thing is for sure- Cupid will be working hard for his money when all the boys can’t take their eyes off you.

The key to this look is ditching the brushes. Use your fingertips to smudge liner and rub in your foundation like you would moisturizer.

Glamorous Girls in London Spice Up Their Everyday Beauty Looks

Everyone loves getting glammed up for a night on the town, so why not get Glamorous during the day too? We love using a bit of mascara and lip gloss to keep your daytime beauty look simple, but adding a pop of color to your makeup or enhancing something you’ve already got may help grab the attention of that cute guy in class! Walking through the streets of London I can’t help noticing that London girls aren’t afraid to make a bold statement, even during the day.

Most Londoners seem to glam up their daytime makeup with a pop of color on the lips. Abbey (right) turns heads with her bright and fun fuchsia lips. To get this look, try our Long Stay Lipstick in “Pants on” and your lips will attract attention all day long. Another simple way to keep your every day look beautiful all day is to keep your eyebrows looking perfect. Try our Eyebrow Pencil in “Cappuccino” or “Espresso” , whichever matches your brows best! This is a great way to keep your face looking gorgeous all day at school or work. Louisa (center) seems to have mastered both of our daytime glam tricks. These three girls (along with plenty of other Glamorous girls in London) don’t shy away from taking the extra step to get glam for work, school, or just a day running errands. Whether it’s subtly enhancing their features with an eyebrow pencil or commanding attention with a colorful lip, these girls know just how to stay Glamorous! So why not steal some of their ideas and add glam to your daytime makeup?

One of the most exhilarating trends for this Spring is color blocking.  Not only are these outfits filled with bright colors, but the color combinations range from red and navy to bright orange, teel and hot pink.  This trend makes simple t-shirt dresses look glamorous.  Our style tip?  Although the trend calls for wacky color combinations, take some consideration into which colors you choose to rock.  We also suggest sticking to a max of three colors otherwise your outfits will start giving you headaches.  Glam Alert!  Oranges and tangerines are huge this Spring so try to coordinate it into one of your three colors.

Another huge trend this spring that Glamorous absolutely adores, are the metallic basics showing up on the runway.  From wrap skirts, to blazers these pieces are head turners!  Nervous about experimenting with metallic?  Try a subtler color like a navy or black blazer with a white shirt underneath, a pair of your favorite skinny jeans, coupled with a fabulous pair of nude heels, and you have got yourself a runway outfit.

Prints, prints, and more prints.  This spring you will see everything from colorful camo print, to modernistic prints.  We have seen parrot prints, large floral prints, and geometric shapes.  The more modern prints have swirls, and metallic elements.  It is a fun way to update your wardrobe from the classic patterns we’ve seen millions of times.  Glam Alert!  Pastels are going to be seen a lot this Spring, so try  wearing camouflage print in pastel shades to soften up your look.

Glamorous at the Globes

Fortunately for the celebs rocking the carpet, there weren’t too many makeup atrocities at the Golden Globes this year. Instead we saw some beautiful, on trend looks. Our favorite looks this year belonged to Dianna Agron, Lea Michele, Jessica Biel, Charlize Theron and Sofia Vergara.

Lea Michele The Glee actress paid homage to the 1960’s with a smokey eye and pale nude lip. To get this look, use Double Eyeshadow in “Mirror Mirror” Liquid Eyeliner in “Pavement” and Classic Lip Gloss in “Naked Banana” .

Dianna Agron Dianna’s look was classic with a twist. We’re obsessed with her slightly winged eyeliner and orange-toned red lipstick, which is a major trend for Spring . Get this look at home with Liquid Eyeliner in “Pavement” and Long Stay Lipstick in “Sure Thing” .

Charlize Theron Charlize chose a clean, soft look to compliment her soft pink dress. This subtle look really brings out her green eyes without trying too hard. To get this look, use the lightest color in the 3 color eyeshadow “Leo” and Long Stay Lipstick in “Pinky Promise” .

Jessica Biel Jessica’s look was all about the skin. Everything else was soft and subtle, letting her perfect, dewy skin shine through. Get this look using Glamorous foundation and concealer in your matching shades and just a hint of your favorite Glamorous blush.

Sofia Vergara Sofia sizzled on the red carpet with a blue-toned plum lipstick and a copper eyeshadow. Get this look at home with Classic Lipstick in “Riot”and 3 color eyeshadow in “Orion”.

Go Team Glam!

NFL cheerleader Ashley, ‘cheers’ to the Glamorous Cosmetics by being the face of our exciting first “Look of the Month!” of the year This month’s guide to what’s hot and of course, Glam, comes straight from GC professional makeup artist, Jessica Romano. By combining the right shades of green and brown, Jessica emphasizes Ashley’s natural eye color with a subtle smokey eye. By adding just a touch of bronzer to the face and nude shine to the lips, she creates a flawlessly balanced look, just right for the field and a night out on the town. Ashley’s gorgeous green eyes and pom-pom’s inspired a look that certainly shouts “winning!”

Eyes. Sweep the lime green shade from the double eye shadow “Treasure Hunt” 1/3 of the way in starting from the inner corner of the eyelid. Pat the olive shade from the 12 color eye palette “Marrakesh” from the center of the lid, using the excess to blend towards the crease and outer corner. Buff the medium brown shade from “Marrakesh” into the outer “v” corner of the eye, blending upwards toward the brow bone. Finish with the perfect brow highlight in bone. Tilting your head back and up look down into the mirror to apply liquid liner “Pavement” right into the top lash line to enhance thickness and intensity of lashes.

Face. Choose appropriate foundation shade (foundation shade “Almond” matched Ashley’s skin tone flawlessly). Smooth foundation across entire surface of the face-more or less depending on desired coverage (Glamorous Cosmetics foundation allows for natural sheer to medium coverage). As foundation dries, feather in the brows for a naturally defined look with “Cappuccino” brow pencil. Bronze the high points of the face (center forehead, cheeks, bridge of nose) with a sun kissed look using “Bronzebomb”.

Lips. “Naked Banana” provides Ashley’s lips the perfect sheen. Concentrate application of this Glamorous “Classic Gloss” fan fave, at the bow of the top lip and center of the bottom for that extra juicy, plumped pout.

Extra Glam. Use “Go Green” nail color to polish off this look!

I’m feeling fabulous in my bronzy-shimmery holiday makeup! This look is perfect for Holiday parties and goes great with any outfit.

Eyes. I started by using Shadow Stick on my eye lids in“Cash or Credit” . (Shadow Sticks are my new obsession). I used my finger and blended upwards on my eyelid. I then went over it with Single Shadow in“Quicksand” and blended. I used“All or Nothing” Retractable Eyeliner (a white shade) on my waterline. Next I applied shimmery white shadow from“Pegasus” 3 color eyeshadow in the area closest to my nose or the “tear duct”. I took that same shadow and highlighted under my brow bone. I lined the top of my eyes with liquid liner in“Pavement” . With liquid liner it’s easy to do a clean wing! I lined the bottom of my eyes with“Pudding Pop” retractable eyeliner. I set the liner with glitter liner in“Copper” which also added some sexualness to my look.

Lips. On my lips, I actually used the same pencil “Pudding Pop” – I used to line my eyes. This pencil is safe for both lips & eyes. Definitely glamming. I skipped on a lipstick and applied “Naked Banana” classic lipgloss all over. I then took took the frosty white shade from the 3 color shadow “Pegasus”
and applied it in the middle of my lips to make them look fuller. I then applied even more lipgloss- making these lips kissable for the Holidays.

Face. On my skin I used Liquid Foundation in“Golden” to get a flawless and smooth coverage. To finish this look I took my HUGE bronzer aka“Bronzebomb” to contour my cheek
bones and my nose. Don’t I look sexual? Time to partaaaay.

BONUS! This polish goes fab with this look! Gold bling shade of nail polish in “21 Carat” . I love the holidays!
